Good work anyway.
Since McQuarrie designed the first trilogy nearly alone, and through that was such a major influence on all science fiction design after Star Wars,he was just too important to just leave him out when stating that someone did the creature design for the Star Wars movies.Just think 50% of the truth is more than just a minor little detail.
I canīt figure a real good way to say that right..really didnīt mean to offend you or even make such a big thing out of it,Iīm not raging around here.Itīs just about the facts and I just found them important and wanted to say it.The fact that Iīm such a huge fan of McQuarrie just gave more weight to those facts for me.Maybe look at it like you have a favorite comic and someone stated the one who drew it as its inventor without mentioning the author of the story..still dunno how to make it really clear, please just know I didnīt mean to attack you.
Seems like Iīm wrong there.
So actually,it was about exactly what you told me to do:Giving credit where credit is due.
By the way,I donīt remember DEMANDING to change that [artistīs] comment,I believe I asked for or suggested that.I must have sounded very aggressive though so I apologize for that;Iīm a bit touchy when facts are left away or deemed to be unimportant, and me being a die hard fan of McQuarrie didnīt make it better in that case. But even otherwise I wouldīve found it important enough to mention.Itīs like talking about the history of nuclear power and only mentioning Marie Curie while leaving out her husband...something like that.I didnīt mean to be be a bitchy little fanboy.
