It looked more epic in my imagination, but I guess this is close enough. Another assignment for my sci-fi illustration class, also from the Storm Slayer story.

This is the main antagonist's weather changing machine, called the Eye of the Storm (such a long name.) It's suppose to look like a huge fish, and this was the best I could do to make it look somewhat cool and not lame.

In your description you mentioned that it looks more epic in your head. If I picture this image more epic ( which is hard cuz you made it pretty epic already :D) I picture myself looking at the ship from the bitten looking up with thunder and dark clouds in the background and some nicer looking clouds near the front to create contrast. Don't get me wrong you did such a stunning job on this picture Im just trying to imagine the same picture just from a different prospective
